Very scary! Thank you for posting!
How tragic. This is so unfortunate. :(
These recalls happen too often nowadays.
Hard to trust any company.
Thank you for posting!
For those that feed Blue Buffalo, I checked out their website and they are saying none of their products are involved in the recall, they use US source meats and are not recalling anything. They are calling it an "internet rumor".
Thanks for posting luckily we only use the salmon blue buffalo scary!
Here's the official statement from the FDA:

FDA Continues to Caution Dog Owners About Chicken Jerky Products
Here is another I saw today for chicken sticks, etc...

If anyone is looking for "made in USA" premium chicken jerky treats, I highly recommend kona's chips. They are excellent.

Dog Jerky, Jerky Dog Treats, Chicken Jerky Dog Treats, Dog Jerky made in the USA | Products Kona's Chips

I also caution everyone to read the fine print on those bags of chicken jerky they sell at farm stores, as well as petco and petsmart. Most of them are made in China.
Wow I was going to buy them earlier. They are in a red packet. My local shop sells them she had a chi so I will defo tell her tomorrow. Scary !!!
The Blue Buffalo recall listed was from 2007--they do not use any products from China.

So scary though--we're fortunate our local store carries most Maine made stuff & they have a great dehydrated chicken treat called TriPom Chews that we use. I don't buy anything food related in big box stores for the pups...just too scary!!
