I stopped smoking a month ago, now it's time to start losing weight. I was on Nutrisystem 2 years ago and had some good success. So I am starting it up again for a few months to get back on tract, then will switch over to Adkins again.

Thank you everyone. I have no urge to smoke anymore. The first night is the hardest, then the first week. Once I get past that, it's a lot easier. I was doing well on the diet, lost 8 pounds, then had to have my mom with me for a few days. She has dementia. The stress of caring for her kinda got me off track on my eating. But she is better and I got her wheelchair ordered and got her back to her house, so today it's back to the diet.

Good on you for giving up smoking!! Don't stress too much on losing weight, your doing a wonderful job by giving up the ciggie's!! If you lose track a bit with your diet don't beat yourself up, remember your changing two big thing's in your life and you need to give yourself time to succeed at both!!
