Last night at 3:30am I woke up to the sound of poor little romi gagging.
He then threw up a yellow foamy mess! He was a bit sorry for himself for a little bit but had been fine every since – I think he enjoyed having me awake to fuss him at 4am and was bouncing like normal this morning.
I think I've read on here that it may be due to him being hungry?
He did eat dinner a little earlier than normal (an hour) as I got out of work early so gave him a nice long walk and then fed him.
I'm probably worried over nothing but he had never been sick before.
Please reassure me!

It's o.k. Dogs get sick every once and a while just like us. It's good to hear he's bouncing around & acting normal. Glad he feels better!!!

The yellow foamy stuff is bile and it is because he had an empty stomach. This happens from time to time. If it continues you will need to take him to the vet ;-)

Zoey does the same thing at time, if she has not ate for awhile.

I have had this happen with Bella before after she has woken up, probably twice overall. I called my vet and he said it is probably because she was hungry and her belly got upset, but to feed her and make sure she kept it down. I would just monitor and make sure it doesn't keep happening. :)
