OK, it was just two little licks, but it was on his own in the crate and I'll take it. I just gave him all his meds, as soon as the Pepcid kicks in, I'll offer him some food again.

I was changing his pee pads and he just drank a bunch more water. If he can keep it down, no more SQ IV fluids for him. Crossing everything he can keep it down.

It's been several hours now Pam. How is Sabu?
Not as good as I hoped. He vomited some of the water. And he's still having the bloody diarrhea. So, he'll still need the SQ bolus. *sigh* I did change out the water in his crate with Pedialyte so when he drinks, he will get the stuff he needs. The other two are still doing the same.

At least he's still here so he's a little fighter!

You're obviously doing a fantastic job with his treatment and care.

One of my dobie puppies that was given the Kavak vaccine pulled through but had terrible brain damage. She had no co-ordination after she recovered it was so sad to see. She only lived about 5 years before having to be PTS.

I hope Sabu recovers without any residual affects. Good luck with him.
