Mylo had a rabies and distempermwnt shot today around 6:00 tonightt. I had to run out for a few hours and I just got home. Now he seems swollen and sore. I know sore is normal but swollen??? I am a little freaked out.

he told me I could give 1/2 a baby asprin. I gave him 1/4 at 7:00 and gave him another 1/4 about 1/2 hour ago.

Mylo is not feeling better. He does not want to eat drink or walk. He climbed onto my lap when I let him out of his crate and he peed on me . We are going to the vet at 9.

I am freaking out another 24 min till we go.

The vet said he will be fine. He is having a reaction to the shots. he gave him some benadryl and told me to give him some 3 times a day.

He just seem so miserable.

He had the reaction to the distemperment shot, which is weird because he did not have a reaction when he got it the first time. The vet made it sound like it was a bad reaction. He is back to himself now but still sore.

Thanks everyone for their advice and well wishes. Made me feel like less of a nut.
