Hi everyone, I have a purebred, 21-week-old male Chihuahua who is very shy (even though we have had him since he was 9 weeks old and the breeder socialized him a bunch before we brought him home) and needs more socialization to everything new. The problem is I have basically no immune system and a few other health issues that cause me (and then him because if he isn't at the groomer, he鈥檚 with me) to only go out in the world and socialize once a month.
He is an opinionated little guy (almost every male is 馃槤) and when he has to do new things he vocalizes his discomfort loudly lol even though our other chi is his bff and she shows him that everything isn't scary. Are there any ways I can get him socialized (but still be away from people) before it's too late and he is a scared loud grumpy old man before he鈥檚 one lol?

Hey! I understand how you feel, my male is almost 9 months and definitely wasn't socialized enough. His main problem is he's territorial and barks at the doorbell and people in our house (sucks because no one comes over during covid, so i knew this was gonna be a prob). Luckily he's okay with cars and other noises. What I did (again, not enough and i totally regret not doing enough during this critical period) is I took him on car rides a lot. If I was going to a drive thru, he came with and he would just stare at the workers, no barking nothing. Even if you go for curbside pick up if you're getting something from a store, bring him with. I think during covid the best bet is the car personally. I also carried him on walks for a bit and treated him when he just looked at people and cars. I just started walking him recently and he does fine, just stares at cars and people, but nothing crazy.

Hi guys,
My chichuaua is nearly 6 months old and due to covid-19 he hasn't been socialised with other dogs, though he is fine with people and very friendly.
This is not a huge concern of mine as he is very curious and despite being scared at first he always tries to figure out objects, people, etc. I expect it will be the same with other animals.

What about doggy daycare ? I am sure the doggy daycare attendants follow all protocols related to preventing Covid. We have just started looking into getting another chihuahua after losing Dallas & We are looking into this.... I mean we gotta work.

Capital One auto insurance is known for many of their innovative products. They have been in business since 1979 and are one of the more established traditional insurers. They are one of the many insurers competing against each other for business. They have an array of plans to choose from, but they also offer flexible plans for more risk-averse consumers. The Capital One Auto Enroll Service https://teuscherfifthavenue.com/capital-one-auto-enroll/ is designed to fill the needs of those who do not want to take the time and effort to research for auto insurance. The service will automatically renew your car insurance policy without the hassle of visiting a broker and trying to convince him or her to do the same thing.
...to get really ill (though he has been vaccinated) so I am currently on drugs that pretty much cripple my immune system. Also, he has an undetermined respiratory infection. He is housetrained, is a big fan of love and affection and has been using a doggie door (though he needs to be walked like a champ and has been doing ok for the most part with that). He doesn't seem to be in any pain or distress, is eating, drinking, using the doggie door, is getting to the litterbox (but not staying)
