I have a chihuahua named Ace who just turned one April 4th. He is the sweetest dog to people that he knows, but to strangers he can be kind of mean. He barks furosiously (sp) at them and won't stop. I'm afraid to introduce him to anyone knew because I don't want him to bite them.
I am only 22 and my bf and I are graduating college this year, planning on marrying, and possibly have a baby in the next few years. When my cousin is over, who is 2 months old, Ace barks a TON at him.
Dont get me wrong, I would never ever find him a new home, I would just block him off from certain areas of the house...but I want him to stop.
I guess I didn't socialize him enough, even though I really thought I was doing a good job at it. Will it ever get better with more socialization? He acts like he's going to bite people until he's met them 4 or 5 times, then he is fine. Sorry so long, im just frustrated.
