So I'm getting ready for work , I always get up feed Yoda, then take care of myself. So i just got out of the shower and I can't see my whole living area from the bathroom. But I saw Yoda , he looked at me and started growling towards the sliding glass door (which I can't see) HE WAS VERY ALERT!!! and started to walk towards me without taking his eyes off the door. It scared the crap outta me. I went to take a look and nothing was there...... This is the first time he has ever really growled without us playing with him . Very weird.... Maybe he saw a ghost....

He probably heard something you didn't. Little man just taking care of his peeps. :)
Jasmine has done that a time or two. The last time, about a week ago, she woke me from a sound sleep at 2 a.m., barking furiously. Usually when she barks, it's only one or two - woof, woof, and I tell her that's enough, and she normally will stop. But that night, she kept barking, growling, and the fur on her neck was standing up. She kept jumping off the bed, running into the living room, and back. She did this several times - I got up, turned on front and back porch lights, but could see nothing. It took me over half an hour to calm her down - frankly, it was a little scary to me. If she were a constant barker, I would have thought nothing of it, but she isn't.

She went back to sleep about a half hour later. Mommy was awake till almost 4 a.m. LOL
Weird!! After my older chi died, the next day, Dixie was looking outside(it was night time) and just barked like crazy! She just kept staring out the window. My chi used to always sit by the window on the door and watch us eat :(

 Oh my gosh!! You know my poodle when he was younger (he can't hear so well now  ) He barely barked, one night I was home alone I think I was about 17 or so...anyway...it was around 3 am and he bolted straight up from a dead sleep growling, and then it turned to barking....I tried to shush him but he kept going and I was freaking out...so I follow him into the living room and he goes to the sliding glass door...and kept barking...all of a sudden the motion lights go on...and I quickly peeped through the blinds and their was somebody running off into the bushes!!! I called the police etc. they never found out who it was or what they were doing...but who knows what could've happened if Joey hadn't barked the person away...

Gizmo doesn't bark...LOL...My hubby sneaked in yesterday and Gizmo didn't even whine...I was like geee thanks Gizzie...I feel so protected...

cosmo seems like a great protector, for some reason i see him as a tough guy bad boy type.. :p
when i used to live at home..i had a dream that seem sooo real!!!
it was xmas time...
i saw my ex boyf looking like a ghost standing by my door in my bedroom..
..i run out the door and in to my sisters room and sleeped in there...
the funny thing is i dont rember being asleep..i rember waking up seeing a ghost and running out my room! it didnt seem like a dream..i was soo sure at the time it was 4 real..i was 18! my hole family was thinking i was nuts..lol because i wouldnt sleep in my room..took me 4moths till i did!
then i just really forgot about it..and over the years when i think about it i just think it must have been a dream..coz there are no ghosts :?
anyway..back then my sister told me to get a dog coz they see ghosts..lol
sometime later my sister got a jack russel..and xmas time was coming up..and one night her dog was standing in the hall where are doors to are rooms where looking at my door , and was barking and growing and we couldnt carm him down..we ened up sleeping in my other sisters room that was on the lower floor..lol we where both freaking out!..lol seems so silly now...ive moved out now..2years later..

and ive got my lil tyke ...sometimes he grows and barks at my bedroom door..lol it freaks me out when he does this..im sure its just people coming home that live in the same building as us :? i dont hear them but dogs do have good hearing!

I just hope he dont do this near xmas time as that would be sooooo wierd!!!

so can dogs see ghost..........lol

i dont belive in them..but ive had some wired goings on :?

Sylivia Browne would say he saw a spirit...LOL...a friendly one I'm sure LOL
My guess would be that he heard something outside......could have been as innocent as someone putting the lid on their garbage can LOL Scary for you none the less !

Yeah, that would've scared me too.
Lina does that like all the time! It'll be completely quiet in the house with everyone in bed but the two of us and she'll just start barking at the back door or the wall or whatever and she won't stop until I put her in bed. It drives me nuts sometimes!! Especially when she does it when the kids are finally asleep cause they usually end up waking up.
Felony dis that for the first time 2 days ago, I was asleep and she was sleeping right nect to my face ( like she loves to do) and all of a sudden her little body jumps up and started growling, and then she started this low bark I think she was trying to imitate or german shepard sam, but it turned out my dad just got home from work and was in the kitchen. I had no idea and was freaked out when she started this and the kitchen light turned on!
