Like a lot of the country this past week, we've gotten quite a bit of snowfall lately mixed with some lovely icy sleet. The doggies are all handling everything quite well though; enjoying the pathways I shoveled out in the yard (it's the last I can do if I expect them all to poop outside lmao). I just figured it has been a while since I shared any pictures due to a few privacy concerns, so I thought I would upload a few pics and leave them up for the next couple hours. =)

Here's "Old Man Miles," curled up on his favorite spot on the bench in my dining room.

If you couldn't tell, comfort is paramount to us here; LOL!! Nothing makes a better pillow for a chihuahua than.. another chihuahua!

Sushi! She is barely a shadow of the dog she used to be. Whenever the pups' adopters would visit, she'd be front in line for pettings and kisses... a FAR way from the mill momma, petrified, shaking little thing I'd gotten over a year ago. Her eyes truly do "twinkle" when she's happy and it just melts my heart.

This was meant to be a pic of my dining room after it was done being painted, but Sushi was posing so nicely I had to let her in on it haha. There's also 2 dogs on the chair. Just imagine this without the icky brown carpet and instead with black and white checkered tile...

"Spike," aka "Spike-a-Roo," "Roo," "Rooney Toons," etc... he's now past 2lbs and fully recovered from his tummy bug. I always thought potty training in winter would be a PITA, but in reality it's made him quite the trooper and as long as he's clothed he seems to have no grasp of temperature or the elements haha.

Here's Spike with his only remaining brother Leon; who used to be the smallest but both are now right about 2lbs.

This isn't my picture but I do have full permission to share it; here's dear Alice (formerly Eve!!) with one of her "big" brothers. She was for sure one of the hardest adoptions to let go of but SO worth it to see her with such a perfect family. When this shep was just a puppy, he and Kahlua were best of friends... now he and Alice are referred to as the "odd couple".

Lastly, here's Ellie in our yard exploring the little mazes I create LOL. Every time it snows I do something totally different; keeps them on their toes. =D

Anyway that's all for now! I'll make sure that Zofia and Kahlua get their chance in the spotlight next time. =) Thank you so much for looking.

Kat!!!! So happy I came on here and got to see these pics! What privacy issues worries you got with pics Hun?

I think you already know I'm a little bit in love with your house!! Love love love it! So retro and I love the coca cola signs, fab!!

Oh and your pups, my god, if they were edible I'd eat them! Bugger it, I'd give them a good go now!

They are just so beautiful, and you can just tell how happy and content they are - all thanks to you. You're a wonderful person xxx

Thanks Christie and Rachel! As far as privacy issues, I guess though I knew this was a public forum it never occurred to me that anyone would take or steal pictures until an incident I'd heard about that just has me a little on edge. I don't think I'm the greatest photographer or anything but it does make me uncomfortable to know that people can simply "Right Click, Save Image As," any image or video posted on here. In fact I don't even mind if someone asks me to send them personal photos if they really want a copy for what ever reason, I guess I'm just uneasy about people taking images without my knowledge with as easy as it is to do. On my Crested forum, there've been multiple cases of people stealing puppy pictures and them winding up posted on Craigslist or Kijiji as part of a scam. Scary stuff; I'm sure I have nothing to worry about but it's my anxious OCD self being paranoid LOL.
Thanks so so much for the kind words about my house. It's such a work in progress but I still love to work on it. I think you and I are obligated to meet one day; some day, in the future; we seem to have a lot in common and I think we'd hit it off great in real life too hehe.

No it's never really occured to me either... I'm always putting bits and bobs on here? no I don't think it's that paranoid, thinking about it, it is very easy to do I guess!
It would be good if we could have a little sub-forum that was private and all us regulars could go on and post pictures and whatever we liked!

You could put a watermark on your photos, then they would be harder for people to get away with taking. I put one on my art a lot of the time.

That photo scam happened to me on a cavy website. It is a respectable site and had pics of the winning line ups from the shows. I then found the pic of one of my winning pigs on a free ad site being used to advertise some BYBs manky stock.
The pic of Alice and her new BF is priceless, your babies are all looking gorgeous too.
If I ever win the lottery I shall fly all the Chi people around the world for a series of meet-ups, you can hold me to that lol

Just didn't realize how beautiful they are till I came to this forum. I have always had short hair dogs. About Pictures being stolen, I found a picture of my Parrotlet on a site that I did not post. It is upsetting.

I too had it happen to me - One of my friends sent me a link to a site selling dogs and someone had used a photo of my Zeta ( as a puppy ) I got the add removed but it still upset me!!

That never dawned on me either about the pictures. What a shame, we all share pictures because we love our dogs. Anyway, look at that snow! Man oh man my SC pups would not be happy campers. Lady and Prince definitely do the chihuahua pillow thing!
