someone should let them know there is no such thing as a teacup chihuahua....

chi's get stolen for obvious reasons like wanting to breed them and make money off of them, keeping them as pets and also in rare cases using them as bait dogs  they need to investigate the people real closely to find out what they wanted to do with the dogs.

so sickening.
Those poor little chis - that's so sad. I'm glad they at least recovered 6 still alive.

One thing did stand out though - did you notice that the person who wrote the article for the paper called the one who died a "teacup"? The phrase has been used so much, people just assume it's correct. :(
I can't believe it, I live in Detroit so this is also my home area, it amazes me the things people will do to make a buck, I'm sure they would have sold them porr pups to someone! A few years ago my family had a white female pit bull and she was stolen out of our backyard one day, and all we did was let her out to go to the bathroom. The sad thing is we never found out what happened to her, she could have been used for fighting or some other sick thing. People really amaze me sometimes!

Where did you get your chihuahua from because my breeder is based in Detroit Charming Chi's ? Ever heard of them? If not where did you get your chi?
was that $6000 each or for all 6?
i understand about that t-cup title,i dont know how we can stop this stigma being used.
stolen dogs is becoming all too common and now more violent and cruel, more needs to be done.

That does sound familar but no I didn't get Felony from them I got her from this lady who posted an add in the paper. She said she had been a breeder for years but I don't know I wouldn't ever go back to her because of felonys leg, I can't even be 100% sure she's all chi sometimes she looks mixed to me. But I love her anyway :D How much do chis usually run from that place?

I love him to death, He has been all around the world searching for chi's for his breeding program he's into the show world and his Chi took best of breed at Cobo hall show a while back. If you go to any shows I am sure you will see him or at least one of his dogs. I know its expensive but my Cooper cost me $1200. His chihuahuas run from 600 to 2000. I would highly recomend him!
My only concern with him is I think he breeds his chihuahuas too small. Ive seen many chis he has bred and The biggest ive seen is 4 pounds. usually they are in the 3 pound range or smaller. But they all are healthy and happy!
OMG. That is not far from me, maybe 40 minutes away. I didnt hear anything about it here where I am.

3 pounds or smaller is horrible unless it's the males that are small. females should be 4 1/2 and up no smaller.
No, He never breeds females under 4 pounds. He strives for males in the 3 pound range and females in the 4 pounds range. If the females happen to be smaller they will be spayed.
