This is not me complaining about y'all but...

When you're color blind, it's really hard to see colors on colored backgrounds. When someone changes the color of their font, to me, it looks like a blank post and I have to highlight the text to see what it says.

If the background wasn't colored, I wouldn't have that much of a problem and I don't know if anyone else here is color blind or not but if I see a "blank" post, I just keep on moving and don't read it.

Just thought I'd let y'all know.

OH wow ... never thought about that. I use the pink screen and haven't looked at the other screens at ALL ... never even gave a thought to how colors looked on the other screens. Sorry bout that! I just think black print is so boring!


WOW! I just tried the blue screen, and I'm not quite sure if I'm liking it ... it's definitely different. But I now see Coop's point. Hmmm :scratch:

I get disoriented when I try to use the blue screen. If I'd started out with that I'm sure it would be fine but mine's always been pink. I find it a nice soothing color on the eyes. :wave:

One thing I just started doing a couple months ago is using the "Login/Out" feature (upper right hand corner). If you log in and out each time you visit, you can then click on "View Posts Since Last Visit." It definitely helps me figure out what I've read and what I haven't.

I dont log in or out i just have it permanently logged in on my favourites and i do the "View Posts Since Last Visit'.

Yeah, I use the blue screen. I could use the pink but the blue is just a teensy bit easier for me to read. I also like the layout better.

I have always used the pink up until about a month ago then switched to blue. It took about a day to get used to but now I love it so much!

Most of the time newbies just get here order a siggy- put a link to there dogs site and leave ect... maybe there should be some rules for newbies more than the longtime members.
like having a centain amount of posts before requesting a siggy.
