Welcome to the forum Natalie. :ngreet2:

Have you taken your little one to the vet yet? They'll be able to weigh
him for you. I also hate to burst your bubble, but there is no such thing
as a teacup...well other than a teacup you drink out of. ;) Your pup is
just a Chi. He sounds really cute. It'd be easier to come up with name
ideas if you could maybe post a picture....or two...or three! We all love
pictures here. :)

Welcome! I am not sure about the name Butterscotch for a boy...thats just me though. I am no expert, but I really dont think that there is such thing as "teacup" chihuahua..

I liked the name Elton I saw on Ozchi's list...can you post some pictures to help us along..you will get many ideas from everyone here.

Congrats on your baby boy! There's actually no such thing as a teacup Chihuahua. That is just a term bad "breeders" use to market and advertise their puppies for big money. It's just a scam. Any well-bred Chihuahua is going to be small anyways because that is the breed standard. They are a toy breed. However, the extremely small Chis (less than 3lbs as adults) often come with more health problems.

I'm sure a picture or two would help us think of some names for him. :)

What a cutie pie!!! I know he has already stolen your heart! OOOOh, names, let's see, I really liked Chopper on Ozchi's list (Sarah, tell hubby he had my vote. ;)). Tell us if you like human names or food names or traditional pet names...?

we wonder too

I am having fun with him .He is warming up quickly .
You ask his age , how old does look/seem to you ?
I don't own a scale but guessing 2 pounds .
His dad and I weren't happy with his living conditions . We don't think he was socialized or fed enough and when we got him he had fleas .
None of that matters now because he now has a brother, sister and a mommy and that will give all kinds of love and more .
