My mom's chi, Fred, has some really bad allergies. For the last several months I've been trying to get her to take him off Pedigree, and put him on a better food. Now, some of his allergies are caused by grasses, but no way are all of them. And I told her about it. I showed her the website dogfoodadvisor.com. Well Fred does get an allergy shot once a month. However this month she has noticed he keeps scratching, and won't stop. I told her again to change his food. She called me this evening and said she has been looking at foods on the website :D and that she was going to start feeding Acaina (sp). I am so happy she has decided to feed Fred a better food. Let me tell you about Fred. When my kids were younger, someone tried to hurt them. Fred bit the guy. I love this dog as much as I love Cricket. I just wanted to thank all of you for helping me help my mom with her dog.

I'm so happy she listened to you. I have been fighting with my perents for years to feed their dogs better food. Now that my mom is living with me, my dad is buying better grain free food and put poor little Pip on a diet. She is a 4 year-old chi/weenie and weighed 24 pounds. When they moved to LA, she weighed 12 pounds. She had gotten so big, she could barely walk and couldn't jump on the chair any more. Now she is on the green bean diet and has lost 9 pounds. Dad says she is running and playing again and is so happy.
