I have a 5 mo old girl. When I tell her no, she will act like she is biting her foot, but she really doesn't, and she makes a silly noise. Anyone else seen this in their dog?
I have no idea! Maybe her way of telling you she doesn't appreciate you're telling her NO!! Try accentuating the positive and ignoring the bad!! Sue Davis
Tango won't bite his foot when I tell him no or stop, but sometimes it's obvious he's pissy because he'll do the dog equivalent of telling me "nope, not gonna happen" when I tell him to stop doing something. He kind of gives me this look, like "you're kidding, right?" often followed by a certain yip. There's no way to describe it, but it's a noise he makes when his demeanor, his behavior, is OBVIOUSLY saying "I love ya but naaaahhh....ain't gonna do that!"
