It seems it's Chloe's turn to go through the teenage phase now she is 6 months old. Axle went very moody but is 100% back to his smoochy lovey dovey self now. Chloe's temperament hasn't changed but her potty training has all of a sudden gone out the window :( She was 100% accurate at using the pads (well except when she got a bit too excited doing her poop dance and spun herself off the edge of the pad) but all of a sudden she is just pooping exactly where she is standing when the urge hits her and she has started peeing on the back door mat! I am now escorting her to the pads after meals and waiting until she goes which I haven't had to do for months. Lucky she is not pooping 5 times a day anymore so it's not a big deal, just frustrating. Hopefully she gets back to normal quickly like Axle did.

On a side note ever since she had her spay on friday she cries when she poops. I guess it hurts her to bear down given her internal stitches. It was really loud the first couple of days and now is just a little whimper so I guess that means she is healing. Has anyone else's Chi experienced this after their spay?

Our Bulldog we had years ago was like that after her spay. She acted as if she was never house trained and i know for sure she was. She was 3yes old when we had her fixed and she never pottied in the house...never! After her spay she pee'd by the door but never asked to go out. She would go in far off corners where no one could see and do her #2's. After about a month it all went back to normal. It was wierd! She just all the sudden stopped and it went back to normal.

Hmmm, the random pooping started about a week before her spay so I don't think the two are connected - i think its just her age.
