Finally getting some spring-like weather.
These are some happy, happy dogs, I can tell you that !

Aww! YAY! I'm glad they had such a nice day for the dog park, Alan! So happy to see them out and about with their adorable smiling faces! :)

Good pictures! We went to the dog park yesterday too, a new one for us. Zippy seemed to enjoy it but I didn't think of bringing a camera. Glad that your two had so much fun!

So nice to see chis running free,so many people never let them be like dogs should be.
I do agree - I of course understand why people fear for the little ones.
However, dogs have their own social behavior, and are capable of
interacting very nicely. Part of that interaction is 'aggressive' when another
dog breaks convention, but thats part of the learning curve.

My Chi's are frequently the only small dogs ( by a long shot) in the park.
Larger dogs LOVE to come and see them, and the chi's have learned the off leash social behavior, so there's never an issue.

Typically, the big dogs get too close to Joie, and he ends up chasing them away. It's hilarious ! The owners are always so embarrassed to see their lab or shepard running away with their tails between they legs as mighty Jo hops
after them going Rawf Rawf Rawf :)
