Faye 4lb Chi/Yorkie and Morrison 45lb Lab/Beagle/Basset absolutely love each other. Osha and Lacey really don't play. But Morrison is more than happy to have a tiny playmate. If you watch he is very careful (though he sounds vicious) not to be rough he actually hardly touches her.

And the leash is not tied to anything. It's just on her for house training purposes.

Oh! And the barking is not Faye. It is actually my Pomeranian "Honey".

It's great when they get along with such a size difference.

I've only just started to let my rottie play with my 2 1/2lb chi x LeStat and he's been here for a year now.
The rottie play with the min pin and the jrt all the time but they are both around 14-16lbs so a lot more robust than the chi x!

I'm happy you are happy with your new addition. :) It's cool that she fits in so well.
I was wondering, do you walk all four of your dogs together or separately?

ps: this is just my opinion, but I'd take the harness and leash off while they
play, I've seen too many injuries caused by a leash, it's not fun. It only takes a
second for a dog to wrap their leg in a leash & pull something, followed by weeks
of pain and limping. It's easier to take precautions than to deal with a possible
injury.

Thanks everyone!

Yes I walk them all together twice a day. Then I take the Chis and Faye on a walk on their own in the evening. And I take Faye out with Morrison on one of his shorts walks during the day. I then take Morrison on a 2 hour walk around noon by himself.

To sum it up lol.

Faye- 3 walks
Osha- 2-3 walks
Lacey- 2-3 walks
Morrison- 4 walks
Honey- no walks currently, I try but she was never walked on leash. So if she does work with me and walk it's to the end of the road and back. Its a slow work in progress.

I knew someone would worry. But it's not something I usually allow it literally JUST happened that moment and so no I wasent going to take off the harness/leash in that moment. But she hasent worn it all day. I know the worries and arguments but he was fine, she was fine, and it's not a regular thing.

Samantha, I only mentioned it because I've seen it occur and at times nothing
happens and at other times it causes injuries. I was looking out for you and your
doggies, because I know some people might not even think anything of it until
their pup hurts himself, you know. My worrying comes from a good place, I
promise. Anyways, I enjoyed your vids, keep em coming! :)

ps: I love to hear about other active dog owners, structured walks are crucial to a dog's well-being. :thumbright:
