What happened at the nursing home? Did she get scared? I take Lola and Bosco and every now and then a wheelchair will kind of spook them.. :?

Those are really cute pictures! :D

I do not know what happened... she has never made a peep before but tonight someone walked past the room and she barked like never before! She NEVER does that there (she is always very quiet and ultra lovey dovey w/ my Grandpa). Maybe she did not like whoever walked by I do not know.... :)
P-Nut and Grandpa look so cute ... you should frame that photo! :)

Sometimes dogs just do that ... they don't like someone right off the bat and you don't know why! :?
they look great together. I hope you gramps doesnt mind his pictures on the web lol  all these choco chis and im gettin ghungry!! aww i love grampas :)

AWWWW THANKS :) I am sure it helps that P-Nut and Cocoa look like twins!!!! Cocoa is adorable!!!
aww poor p-nut i wonder what set her off. hopefully that wont happen again. she seems great with ur grandfather in those pics! very sweet pictures. p-nut is gorgeous
aw poor pnut looks terrified =/

must be the smells lol jk<3
Sweet little PNut, sorry she got spooked!
I love the pics of your Gramps..I miss mine so much :)
I love that care facilites allow pets to come visit!
My grandma, who is in her early 80's recently had a heart attack, and following the hospital is staying in a rehab center. My sister, her two girls and Tico and I went and visited her and they have a couple resident cats that are free to roam thru the rooms.
Tico was pretty good, he's still a little shy with people he doesn't know, so grandma only got a half a pet before I thought it would be best if he sat on my lap before he nipped at her and caused a bruise. :pale:
awww those pictures are great! They need to be framed! Awww granddad and p-nut both look sweet!
Beautiful pic's of P-nut with her gramps...life long memories being made for you . She may have heard something she thought was a danger to you and gramps...and went into protective mode...brave little soul LOL It is wonderful the way you visit your grandfather and take P-nut...I was a nurse in a N/home for many years and you have no idea of the many conversations a patient will have with the other patients about family visits .
p nut is such a little mini doll :D sometimes they just don't like somebody ........
:?

kisses nat
Pnut is just a doll Probably she saw or heard something that startled her. When we take Auggie to the boat he hates the carts people use to haul their stuff
Poor P-nut being scared :( hope shes okay now. One thing i noticed, your granpa looks better than he did in the last photos you put up,is he feeling better??
I'm glad they let P-nut in to visit. I think all nursing homes should let pets visit. When my mom wouldn't respond to us she would still stroke Keesha's fur. Keesh is such a good dog, she'd lie by her chair all day.

i noticed that too and was going to say grampa looks good in these sets of pics.

hope p-nut is better next time. poor thing probably didn't like the person who walked by, they can sense things that we can't.....so ya never really know what happened...
Thanks for all the kind words everyone :) Much appreciated!

I think P-Nut did get spooked by something (possibly a food cart or someone she did not like) :(

Grandpa is doing okay... not as bad as he was with his hip and all but still not as well as we would like him to be (he has Alzheimer's Disease so he is probably not going to be getting any better really).
