Hey everybody
My dog is 9 years old and has had 3 surgeries on his mouth to remove his teeth due to infection. In the process it ended up fracturing his jaw. Eating has become more difficult over the past few weeks and I'm wondering if anyone has had the same kind of issue and seeking advice what I can feed him that would be good for him and easily to eat. Thanks

One of our past chis, Rio, was a 3 pound boy when grown. He had a very tiny muzzle and mouth. Our vet had to remove 8 of his teeth when he was 10 years old. Scared us badly to have him put to sleep at that age. The only other time he was put under was at 7 months to be neutered. After the teeth extractions, I cooked him chicken and rice ( I shredded the chicken very small). He could eat this well and did not get over weight at all. He never had a big appetite anyway.
The only problem we had was the other chis could smell his breath and were looking for the chicken!
