[Gadget's Mom]

Dear Diary,

This is how I became my mommy's new baby.

She has a neighbor that has 2 chihuahuas. The boy named Gizmo and the girl named Gidget. My momy fell in love with Gizmo and Gizmo fell in love with my momy. The neighbor lady told my mommy that she was goign to let this chihuahua couple have a litter of puppies. On December 5th, 2004 my first mom Gidget gave birth to 4 new pups. yep that's right I have 2 brothers and 1 sister. When my new mom saw me she knew it was love at first site. I ws the only 1 of the four that had my dad's face. so my new mom told my new dad that she wanted me. My new dad kept telling her that he didn't want an ankle biter. You see, the neighbor and my new dad was planning behind my momies back about Christmas. He wanted to give me to my mommy for Christmas but he wanted it to be a total surprise. So they decided to tell my mommy that they had sold all the pups... boy my mommy was really sad about that.

well, Christmas morning came and my dad got up and got dressed and went outside.... without my mommy knowing why. He snuck over to the neighbors house and put me in his coat pocket and took me hoome for the BIG SURPRISE!!!!!

My mommy was still laying in bed when my dad brought me into her.... He handed her a card and said that he didn't have time to go shopping, but he wanted to give me something. My mommy read the card. It was a Merry Dogmas card. on the inside it said I hope you enjoy your present. My mommy had a weird look on her face by that time.... and that is when my dad pulled me out of his pocket and said this goes with the card. boy my momy was so happy..... But she knew I had to go back to my first mom for a few weeks.... so she loved me for a while and bundled me up and took me bad next door to the neighbors house to my first mom..

that was only a few days before I came home with my new mommy for ever.

I am almost 6 weeks now(tomorrow). And I have been home for almost 3 weeks and I am so loved and cared for that I know I will always have a mommy that loves me... she does everything nice for me...

I really love my mommy and my daddy.. oh I now have another sister... even tho she is alot bigger than me and only has 2 feet... but she has 2 arms that loves me lots....

no you didn't read it wrong. He was 3 weeks.... yes we know it is too young, but the circumstances were better for him to leave his mom that early.... HE is very healthy and lively.

My neighbor and I were trying to save the girl in the litter... she was born much much smaller than the 3 boys and she had a hair lip. we called the vet an she said to take the bigger pups away from the mom. that would give the little girl a much better chance. I talked to my neighbor this after noon and the little girl had to be put to rest. the vet said that her brain was growing to fast. he thought it might be because she wasn't fully developed inside mom... well, we gave it our all and the good thing about it is that she was given a chance and for a long while she was doing good. now she is on that rainbow bridge nice and healthy and happy.

Yeah but she is in a better place... The good thing about it is that she didn't have to suffer for very long if at all....

Dear Diary,

I decided that I liked the dry food much better when my mommy doesn't add water to it and make it soggy... I have been munching for a while now and I like it... nummy nummy.... :love5:
