Hi, everyone: I just wanted to stop in and introduce myself. I lost my beloved Chi back in February. I got her when she was almost 7 and had her for 5 wonderful years. I miss having my baby dog so much that I've made the decision it's time for me to give a loving home to another baby-girl!

I realize this is the "newbie-intro" thread, so the specific question(s) that I have, I'll post on the main message board!

Thank you all for the very warm welcome and your condolences. Yes, I do have a new baby-girl all picked out and as soon as she gets her vet health certificate, I'll be going to get her (hopefully Mon/Tues next week).

She is a white, long-haired, 9 month old. She's full of energy and is so tiny! I also have a beautiful 10 year old Australian Shepherd....not only did we lose our Chi-baby in February, but our oldest dog (almost 15); a border collie/samoyed mix, died in May. It's been a tough year in terms of loss, family member/best friend, pets, etc. and I think I need a new baby girl to help mend my otherwise "shattered-in-a-million-pieces" heart...just sayin'...! LOL! I posted a picture of 'Rella in the photo section of the forum.
