I took Pablo to the vet on Tuesday and he did in fact have kennel cough but it's not in the serious stage yet. On top of having kennel cough, they did a fecal and found coccidia :(. Since my first chi, Nola, hadn't been vaccinated for kennel cough, I took her back the same day like an hour later and got her the vaccine. So, it seems I've been struck with a problem child from a bad breeder.

I did inform the breeder of the situation and told her that she should get her other little ones checked. She acted surprised since she keeps them inside but maybe she lives in the back woods or something.

He's being treated with some antibiotics and Albon for the coccidia. He should be fine in about 10 days.

Glad to hear that Pablo will be better soon. It's always freightening when our little ones aren't feeling well, but it's a good thing that it's not anything serious. My chis and I send Pablowell wishes!!

Keep an eye on Nola and if possible keep her away from his stools because she can get the coccidia too.
