I just wanted to put a warning out on these plastic dog/cat food and water bowls. They're these heavy duty plastic bowls, extra think and chew resistant. They come is all different colors.

I had 2 of these, both purpleish pink colored, and i was putting food and water in them for my cats. well, when i was drying out the water dish, the coloring came off onto the handtowel! i put some water in it...left it for 10 minutes, and poured the water into a white bowl...THE WATER HAD TURNED PINK! I don't know if this is a health hazard to pets or anything, but it can't be good. i threw them out after i saw this. can't the coloring coming off and seeping into the food and water made pets sick from chemicals or something?

The bowls that did this are called a "Crock Dish." I got mine at Wal-Mart. I tried finding a number for the manufacturer of the bowls, but couldn't, so i'm calling the wal-mart head office tomorrow to let them know. If you have these bowls for your pets, please double check and make sure this isn't happening. again, i don't know if this is a health hazard or anything, but it can't be good.

I give bottled water to my cats and chico...i don't drink tap so they don't either. i had a water purifying pitcher...but they stopped making replacement filters for it :x my next thing is one of the purifiers you put right on the faucet. my mother in law has this thing in her garage that hooks up to the water pipes and pruifies all the water in the house. i took a shower there and my hair came out super soft using purified water, i was amazed :D

its the metals within these bowls that gets into the food etc. Just like Alzheimers is a collection of metal in the brain, I just say avoid it as much as possible as we cant get away from it all, (like can food) even drink your sodas not stored in cans, although plastic is crap too, wish they made them in glass like they used to. Not that I drink soda....but ya know. :D
ya know, i wonder why they don't make soda in glass bottles anymore? they still make YooHoo in glass bottles. i remember the glass pepsi bottles from a long time ago, i was like 5 the last time i saw one.
