how do you do it? I tried to weight Laska and Karma today without success, they couldn't stay on it long enough for it to work. Any advice?
I would like to keep a journal about their weight.

I always just put a huge bowl on my kitchen weighing scales and pop them into the bowl - they are so stunned by the fact of being in a bowl that they they stay still for a few moments :)

We have a tiny flat kitchen scale that Gemma sits on. I put it on top of a table and just have her sit on it and she's so nervous about being on a table that she doesn't try to move.

I taught Rocky to stay. So when I put him on the scale I will tell him to stay and he will stay still for some time.

I have a flat scale at home too (a kitchen one used for measuring ingredients). They're the same way Gemma is, and they are too confused and nervous about whats going on to move much for me. LOL Using a bowl would be a good idea. Just subtract the weight of the bowl from the final number.

I shaped Epic to get on the kitchen scale when I put it down. Now she will stand there till I release her. Easy as pie. She learned it in maybe 5 minutes.

I have a digital scale for humans, so I just weigh myself, then pick up Brewster and weigh myself again. Subtract and that's what his weight is :)
