A few days ago Callisto started hiding under the bed and refusing to come out when I called. Then this morning she started her first heat and this afternoon she refused to come upstairs with me (she usually stays by my side all day) and when I came back down I couldn't find her. She was on the lower leval looking up at me and refused to come up. I had to go pick her up. Is this possibly related to her heat? shes never acted like this before.

Gadet's mom is a royal pain in the butt when she is in heat... She will growls and snip at anything and she wants nothing to do with anybody....

yeah they are very moody with their heats. my tasha bird was in heat when i started working at the kennel and took her home. i was worried that she was too moody for me to keep her but the mood swings stopped after a week or so.
