You're definitely doing a great job with her! It definitely looks like her head is catching up to her muzzle - it doesn't look as long as the first pic. :) She'll begin to grow in her adult coat before long...she'll be nice & fluffy before you know it!
Thanks I sure like this girl a lot and hope she will like the ring more.
BTW I love your new siggy!!!

the rules just mean no bald spots, puppy classes are easier because they expect they are going through changes and be a pup at times. I hate they loose their coats but thank heavens the judges know that is what is going on and don't use it against them LOL. She is really "naked" right now I am praying she gets something growing soon I hate this stage really and Ricky didn't get this bad LOL.. yes I agree the sooner the better, also if no classes just keep doing what you are and if you have a friend or someone near practrice with them need to be exposed to strangers and strange dogs noises too. Cali wasn't so this is becoming a problem but I will fix it and get her be confident. so good luck!!
We are trying to socialize him like crazy. He was a bit behind on his vaccinations due to some health complications from a food allergy...so we didn't want to vaccinate while his body was already stressed but we've got it sorted now I hope and he gets final puppy vaccine tomorrow...yay! So far he is THRILLED with every person he meets, not shy or timid at all and thinks the world loves him. He does have one bad fault, a piggy tail...ha. His dad / grand sire both had it as puppies though and it straightened out as they got older. I can "hide" it on a table but walking around, it's pretty obvious. Other than that he's a really good looking little boy with good conformation...exciting that you are going thru much of the same with your lil gal!

Yea I was so fearful of her going out I think I waited too long but was scared of something coming up. now she likes to go out with my others and they are protective of the yard so all she see's is her friends barking at people and strange dogs *sigh* so I have taken her a few places but I need to do more. I took her to class today and there were BIG dogs there so I waited but while waiting she was scared not shaking but tail almost between legs and barking semi growling I hushed her and said no but you can see she wasn't being lady like LOL. I came home disappointed *sigh*

Its hard with these little guys. Right now Bryco has NO CLUE he "should" be scared of big dogs, but I need to make sure he continues to have positive experiences. I mean, he'll be 16 weeks Sunday and still, really not many outings. How old is Cali now? you said close to 6 months?

Honestly, I think Bryco's 12 week vaccine protected him, but we are doing the last one just to be sure, since he will be around other dogs a lot. I've never heard him bark or growl in warning, but he's still just a baby.

Do you have like, a puppy social hour or something you can take Cami to? We have been doing this w/ Trigger and Oakley and it's helped some...but honestly, some chis just don't like bigger dogs and they can't really be blamed for it lol.

I so wish we had handling classes. :(
