I sell dog treats online. To dip them I've only used carob so far, obviously I have to use something different if I want to add color to my treats. Anyway- I bought a bag of candy melts a while back and have been debating about using them. I've done a little research and looked at the ingredients and such.

Ingredients: Sugar, Partially Hydrogenated Palm Kernel Oil, Reduced Mineral Whey Powder, Whole Milk Solids, Nonfat Dry Milk Solids, Soya Lecithin (an emulsifier), Salt, and Artificial Flavor.

There are 27g of sugar which is about 1oz.

The wafers I bought are gluten free also.

What do you think? Could I use them? I know about yogurt chips, but there's nowhere to get them around here (I've looked all over the place).
