Just wondering at what age is it safe to have your pups spayed or neutered.

most people here have gottent heir pups spayed or neutered at about 6 months old.. I am not neutering Gadget. Good luck

I heard from my vet that they get spayed or neutered as early as 8 weeks, although she prefers to do it when they're 6 months. I waited until 6 months because I wanted to see if Seiah's teeth would need to be extracted. I didn't want to put him under twice or more than needed.

I see. My little girl is going to be living with a Mini Dachshund and he's about three weeks older than she is. My fiance and I planned to get our babies spayed and neutered when we could, but we just weren't sure when it could (and most importantly, SHOULD!) be done. I don't want to risk hurting either of them by doing it too early.
