Hello! I am a newbie here - just signed up today :) I am a very proud chi owner of 7 years, got my little girl (which is actually her nickname - and answers to it! but her real name is Rudy) when she was 2. She is now 9 years old. She was just at the vet today for a re-check of a urinalysis, as she had a urinary tract infention which I gave her medication for 3 weeks and now had to have it checked again. The vet called me a few hours after the visit and advised me that she does not see the white bloods cells which means the infection has cleared up, but there is a significant amount of red blood cells which could or could not be a stone in her bladder or a tumour. So she is going to have an ultrasound next week. I am worried. Anyone have any past experience with this type of situation?
