My 2 long haired chi's were shedding like crazy too. I mean for months! :shock: I think it finally stopped a couple of weeks ago so hopefully Cooper's will stop soon too.

I know we've discussed the shedding topic before, and everyone says it's just seasonal, but Cooper, my LH is shedding like a maniac! My car is full of hair, not to mention all of my black clothes and furniture!!!! Just wondering if anyone elses chi's are still shedding like mad?? I would have thought this would have been over by now if it was just seasonal. Maybe it's whatever kind of dog cooper is mixed with. Does anyone know if Poms shed?

okay. Well I guess maybe the 'season' hasn't ended yet. :roll: I just wanted to check with you all to see if my dog was normal :wink: and just to say I'm sick of it. lol. But I will put up with it because he's my baby :wink:

As far as the shedding, I heard that they shed twice a year. It must start in January and end in June. The next cycle will start in July and end in December. :wink: Gosh I hope that isn't the case!
Kemo took forever to stop last year and now its Bindi's turn, I think the inital puppy fluff blows a bigger coat. I literally took the lint roller on her and used like 15 sheets, she liked it actually.

Yes, our boys are shedding machines right now, espcially little Kosmo, oh when will it end!!!....
Come to think of it, Zeus is shedding like crazy as well. My black pants are covered in his hair.
i want so bad to take chiwi to work with me and deshed her! she still is blowing puppy coat, it's been few weeks now. :shock:
Yeeesss! :? Yoyo also sheds just as bad. But luckily it's "seasonal". :roll: That's the reason why I don't wear dark color clothes especially black shows more! But I always try to brush his coat so very often like 3 times a week...kind of help a bit! :wink:

I think a combination of the heat, and his puppy coat caused him to start shedding...it was so bad at one point I had to take an allegra twice a day because my allergies got really bad :shock:
He's not shedding anymore though...he probably started early because we started to get really hot here at the end of April....
I bought those rubber glove brushing dooo dads...LOL...I forget what it's called but it has rounded rubber things on it, and it massages him while taking off that excess hair... :wave:

I will maybe try and pick up something like that at the pet store. Btw, Gizmo is adorable! I love his picture in the June for Jokester Photo contest! Chico has started shedding a lot. the passenger seat in my car and my bed have Chico hair all over the place. i think its because of the summer heat.
