My chihuahua last night out of nowhere yelp really loud waking my fiancé and i out of a sleep he seem to be okay we held him and he was fine he did it three time and during the day he wasn’t acting like himself he was being all slow and wanted to sleep he did go potty and everything look normal. I check him for cuts or anything there nothing i put pressure on him and he not hurting, i can pick him up. He hasn’t eaten yet. He yelp twice in the day he was just trying to get comfortable and he yelp again i check him and nothing he just being slow like if he was in trouble and I’m not sure if i should take him to the vet

Definitely take him to the vet. Not that this is relative, but my chi, when she was a puppy ( had just finished her second round of puppy shots), would just sit, hang her head and whine). Our vet was treating her for stomach issues. We took her to the emergency vet and they diagnosed her with meningitis. my point is you can never be sure what is going on. Please take her to be checked out🙏
