What other dog breeds do we all own other than Chihuahuas? :)

Our other dog is an English Bull Terrier. When we told people we were getting a Chihuahua, everyone made the joke 'it'll eat that thing for lunch!' - simply stereotyping the breeds and quite disrespectful to a responsible owner. :(
We put a lot of effort into raising and training our dogs, our EBT is a gentle giant and we love to see them together and show the world it doesnt matter what breed a dog is, through sociability any dog can get along with another. :hello1:

Some people call English Bull Terriers 'ugly' and the Chihuahua an 'IT' dog, so as breed stereotypes they couldnt be more opposite.
They're exactly the same markings and look like little and large with their big ears haha.
Ive noticed when we walk our EBT girl together with our Chihuahua - passersby constantly want to stop and pet Pixie, before no one wanted to stop and pet our EBT...but now she is getting more attention through default and it feels as though Pixie has helped to ambasador our EBT even more!

But this also shows peoples stereotyping to presume a small dog wont bite them or that they wont scare them; children often run upto Pixie and try to pat her head which in doing so scares her and I have to intervene.:foxes15:
I think its great to see Chihuahuas socialising with all different breeds of dogs :hello1:

We used to have a very old black labrador when our first Chihuahua Tobias arrived. At the time we also have Staffordshire Bull Terriers which we rescued them from the rescue centre. Since Hebe (our lab) corssed the bridge, we have another Staffy and 3 more Chis. They all get along very well although the top dog reward has to go to the Chihuahua girl Krystal

I have a golden retriever named Lincoln, because he's an english cream he's always gotten quiet a bit of attention, but now Bijoux gets it all. Which shocking is good for lincoln because he's still a puppy and gets stupid hyper so it's excellent time to train him.

I have had people ask if Bijoux is Lincolns baby -which I get very offended at, even the thought of people assuming i'm a byb gets my blood boiling.

If I could have though I most likely would have gotten a pit bull I simply adore bully breeds and would love to train one to be the ambassador for the breed like i'm training Bijoux to be. You don't know how many times already i've gotten "she's not nasty like all other chihuahua's " Score a point against stereo typing!

We have a 2-year old cocker spaniel who is into everything and is our little clown. Our chi is about 6 and it's sweet to watch our cocker love on our chi. I think at some point we might get a pittie, which I grew up with and love....but I also have a soft spot for senior dogs so I'm thinking of getting a senior chi at some point.

I have an AmStaff x American bulldog and two dobermans. I take Piper for leash walks with them and she gets mobbed with attention. Incidentally, so do the big dogs since everyone is so taken aback by the fact that they aren't trying to munch her.

My boyfriend has an English bulldog and a Siberian husky that live with us also (I know.. crazy household). The bulldog really likes Piper but he's kind of a klutz and the husky would kill her in a second if she had half a chance. She stays outside though so its not too much of a problem and we're very careful not to ever let them be in the same place at the same time.

I have my Pekingese who is 14 years old and tries to plays with the chis sometimes and scares them as she is big and lumbering like a bear. And my daughter's lab/pit mix who loves the chis. Smoke and him are especially close, they are inseparable.

LOL Alan a Stella.
She is one of a kind though that beauty!

Well i share 3 Siberian Huskies with my OH, but they dont live with me right now.
They are gentle giants but play a bit too rough and i wouldnt want any accidents with the chis anyhow.
Our Girl Misty is now Blind and she is very good with my chi Dillon.
They met for the first time a couple of weeks back and all she wanted to do was follow his sound and sniff him, bless her!
He briefly met the 2 boys, Storm and River and they were actually a lot more calm than i thought, but they are very big boys and i didnt want to chance letting Dillon down on the floor for long beside them.
Dillon thinks he is a big boy. haha!!
I do love seing big dogs with small.
We have a few on here and i love the Great Danes with chis especially, so cute!

I had a German Shepherd/Husky/Malamute cross as a kid growing up. He was a really sweet dog but had way more energy than we could handle! And he was SUPER strong. He was a "reject" from a hybrid sled dog breeding program. I have NO clue what my parents were thinking, other than his price-tag was "free" lmbo. Beautiful dog, though.

I used to have a rescue dog named Tess. She was an Alsation x Labrador x Whippet.
I dont remember her very much, as i was much younger. She died at 18 years old. I dont have any pics of her.

I also used to have a yorkshire terrier named Pip. Decided to put him down at the ripe old age of 17 as he had gone completely blind, completely deaf, couldnt walk and other things. Anyways his quality of life just went down, he was my best friend. He belonged to my Dads GF (mum and dad are divorced) but we thought of it as my dog too.
I have attatched a picture of my darling Pippy-dog. <3
(also one of Chloe and Munchkin!)
I now just have my Chihuahua, Chloe. I also have my Cat, Munchkin and my two guinea pigs. Chloe LOVES the guinea pigs, she goes up and sniffs there noses. Its so adorable. Munchkin just thinks they are giant rats and they need to be killed :L
Munchkin rubs against chloe and chloe licks her nose <3

I have my 12-year-old Bichon boy, Cosmo, who is a therapy dog, and a red betta fish named Sir Lancelot. Lavender and Cosmo get along very well. I have my granddaughter's Yorkie, Samantha, right now, but she isn't permanent. I had a ferret and guinea pigs that I enjoyed, but don't have any right now. I love them all and would have many more if I had the room and wherewithall to take care of them!
