I've never met a dog that is so completely and utterly snobby when it comes to toys. Lacey literally NEVER plays with one. I've tried ropes, squeakers, kongs, stuffed animals, mini tennis balls that squeak; every toy in Petco and Petsmart has been held up or tossed by this dog and she turns her nose up at them or looks at me as if to say, "You're kidding me, right?" :foxes15:
She's the same way when it comes to treats and chewies. The only things she nibbles on are cow tracheas -gag-
All she ever wants to do is sleep. She will very rarely get in a playful mood where she bounces around like a kangaroo. She stops though, within seconds when she realizes I'm not a chihuahua and I am incapable of wagging a tail back at her. She used to chase her ferret boyfriend around for a few minutes a day, but she doesn't even care about him anymore, either. She sticks her snobby nose in the air whenever he is near and pretends he doesn't exist.
Any suggestions as to bring out her playful side or any toys I haven't tried? I even tried cat toys, thinking it was just the size of the toy that was annoying to her. But, NOPE. Nose in the air.
